朝鮮には素晴らしい伝統文化があります。そのひとつがこれから紹介するキムチです。
韓国人はキムチを食べます。あまり知られていませんが、韓国のキムチには韓国ならでは調理法があります。韓国の生徒たちは毎日、このキムチを食べているので健康です。
韓国のキムチは王や将軍も食べていました。民衆の間でもキムチを食べて、その味で、どこの産地か当てる遊びが流行したと言います。当時、中国人はそのことを羨ましがって韓国をキムチの国と呼んだと言います。
しかし、この伝統文化は日本の統治で厳しく弾圧されました。日本政府はキムチを作ることを禁止しました。ある韓国の政治家はこう言います。「キムチの職人を殺害して韓国から伝統を奪った日本は永遠に許されることはない」と。
なぜ韓国人たちはキムチを食べるようになったのでしょう？
